Acts 10:36-46
36As for athe word that he sent to Israel, bpreaching good news of cpeace through Jesus Christ ( dhe is Lord of all), 37you yourselves know what happened throughout all Judea, ebeginning ffrom Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed: 38how gGod anointed Jesus of Nazareth hwith the Holy Spirit and with ipower. He went about doing good and healing all jwho were oppressed by the devil, kfor God was with him. 39And lwe are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. mThey put him to death by hanging him on a tree, 40but nGod raised him on othe third day and made him to pappear, 41 qnot to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as rwitnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42And she commanded us to preach to the people and to testify tthat he is the one appointed by God to be judge uof the living and the dead. 43 vTo him wall the prophets bear witness that xeveryone who believes in him receives yforgiveness of sins zthrough his name.”The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles
44While Peter was still saying these things, aathe Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word. 45And the believers from among abthe circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because acthe gift of the Holy Spirit adwas poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they were hearing them aespeaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter declared,
